We had the Lotus crib, but my baby absolutely refused to sleep in it. Especially since you already have a young toddler, I would recommend cosleeping for travel. When he/she is just a bit older, you can also make a floor on the nest with pillows (my son thinks this is a treat!). In short, my advice would be to skip spending the $200 on an extra thing to haul around.

I’m not following your line of reasoning for why there would be potential danger. What does the crib having legs have to do with how your baby sleeps inside it?

Yes, the regular fitted sheet sucks. NEVER put it in the dryer. The quilted sheet is much better. We’ve exclusively used that since about 3 months old. (It’s plush but fits tight enough that I had no SIDS concerns.)

Lotus is great because it lays flat on the floor (as opposed to raised on feet) so it has no weight limit, and is longer than other pnp's (I just checked specs - 42"). Therefore, it can be used much longer than other pnp's. I have a Lotus crib and it has been good, but my kid got too big for it around 24 months, maybe a litter earlier. So I don't know if it's going to be worth the purchase for just a few months.
