I interview really well, and the times it has gone badly, it has almost seemed like the other people weren't even in the room. I assume they had already made their choice, and they were bored with the process.

In one case, the interviewer kept pointing out the bad parts of the job and location.

Went on one where at the dinner with the interviewer, she said something along the lines of "Even if you don't get the job, we'd still like to work with you on these projects . . "
Guess what? Didn't get the job. And no, I don't want to coauthor a paper with you, bitch, where you take all the credit and I do all the work.

I knew a job was fake when the guy calling me asking me to interview said something like "this is a real interview. This isn't a situation where we already know who we'll hire." mmmmkay. I went to the interview anyway, but it was very perfunctory, people were just going through the motions. Everyone who worked in the office was a 40 something white guy, and I'm a woman. They ended up hiring another 40 something white guy...I checked a few months later on LinkedIn.

I had one. Knew it when the interviewer kept telling me that if I didn't get it, to come back there and apply again. He kept saying this over and over again.
