An awesome weekend away to see my favorite NFL team play and explore their city. I got to meet my favorite player. (I’m a woman. Just a football nut.)
Why is it sanctimonious? Just because your life has ran a different course?
My DH didn’t want children for years. I accepted it, as I was on the fence myself, and it wasn’t make or break for me. As I got older, I felt less sure.
He brought up the discussion, with both feet in, after 10+ years together. I actually wavered for several months. She arrived on Christmas, and it really was th best gift ever. Because he knew I wasn’t sure, and would never have taken the leap first.
Oh yeah, and he bought me a sewing machine for my birthday a few years ago. . I love that thing, I learned to sew and have even made a few of my own purses.
