The tuition-thing you are thinking of is the $ APS charges people that are caught falsifying residency documents. APS can require cheaters to pay for the time their kids were illegally enrolled.


APS used to let people pay to finish out a remaining year at a school. I know a friend of mine did that when her son was in kindergarten and they moved to McLean in the winter. That was about 8 years ago.


8 years is a long time. I don't think they have the luxury of allowing this type of transfer any longer.
