Go with low cost mutual funds with low expenses. Vanguard is popular for a reason. Aim for no more than half a percent in fees. (And preferably much lower)

It doesn't make sense because it's an index and not a stock. Stocks are cyclical. Patterns of how you purchase them are not.

about 30% now, about 50% by 2024.


So I feel like everything is cyclical, and too much popularity is a top. That's the way I feel about index now. I know it may not make sense, but that's my disposition.
