You keep talking about your fancy, expensive, sulfate free shampoo. If I shampoo doesnt work for you, the price tag doesn’t matter.

FYI, I have waist length hair that is dry and curly and use the regular Garnier Fructics. I even buy it in a set for $6 at Target. My hair is shiny and frizz free. Sometimes sulfates are exactly what hair wants.

I had an olaplex treatment done at my salon, and they sent me home with a once per week treatment for me to use at home for 4 weeks. My hair seemed not noticeably improved at the end of the four weeks.

agree and lots of lean protein. I had this problem and just wasted money on products. My issue was mostly diet related. Also cover your head while in the sun and it could be your hair adjusting to the weather.

Your hair may be low porosity. Google that and see what products you can get to help it retain moisture.

For a salon treatment, I really like the sunflower treatment from Aveda.

Some pepoles hair react like that to products with proteins, or those that can mimic proteins, like aloe and coconut. Do some research on ingredients so you can cut them out. Meanwhile deep treat with olive oil every couple of days, which may help.

Is this the product you mean? Olaplex Hair Perfector No. 3? https://www.sephora.com/product/olaplex-hair-perfector-no-3-P428224?skuId=2033264&keyword=Olaplex

#3 Olaplex is really weak, so I don't use it anymore. I do steps 1 and 2 for the standalone treatment and buy from runwaybeautytrends on Ebay. 1, 2, and 3 have the same active ingredient in different concentrations,1 being the highest. I'll do 1 and 2 over the course of an hour or so every few weeks and will occasionally sleep in 2 only.

Anonymous wrote:Go buy some ground flax meal (must be ground, not whole seeds). You can get this at Trader Joe's. Take one heaping tablespoon full each morning, on cereal or mixed with yogurt or whatever.

I guarantee your hair and skin quality will improve visually and to the touch within two weeks. It makes your skin and hair more moist, but in a good way. I don't know why more people don't do this. I learned the trick from our Russian housekeeper. It works and is super cheap.

NP here. I would like to up my omega 3 intake. However, when I take flax seed or fish oil supplements, my forehead breaks out with huge cystic acne.

Who said I bleached it? I don't.
