I've met Kim Ford. Ms. Ford seems very sincere, but Eleanor still has my vote until she decides to retire.

She hasn't 0represented us well" since ...... well, ever.

Eleanor Holmes Norton is a remarkable civil rights advocate and one of the best things about living in DC. I have so much respect for her.

Norton IS the reason D.C. doesn't have a vote.

Gingrich offered her a deal back in the 90's to get D.C. a vote, in exchange for normalizing the city's gun laws and giving another seat to Utah.

Norton wouldn't take it. She'd rather have a gun ban in D.C. than a vote in Congress for her constituents.

Then the Heller case came along and smacked that gun ban down anyway.

Lose-Lose proposition. And still no vote.
