You are treading on pretty dangerous ground with your repeated insistence that Jarrett looks like an ape. You clearly don't have the excuse of not knowing that she is black. You probably want to tone that down a bit if you don't want to be called names.
Look, I have said previously that I hate to say that but in light of the topic I kind of have to and I think she is attractive nontheless. Just like many people say SJP looks like a horse but she is still attractive. I have also said that the features that I believe make her look like that are not features that most would equate with African Americans. In fact, I don't think her features look particularly African American.

OP here. I swear I'm not trolling. I didn't know anything about Valerie Jarrett before this scandal and hearing her described as an African American woman just made me assume that the planet of the apes comment was made from the same ugly comparison that racists have made for centuries, but when I actually saw her picture it made me think that what inspired Roseanne to make that horrible comparison was her appearance and not her race. Here is a picture of her.

And I also have to put out there that I think she is an attractive woman nonetheless.
Then you haven't been paying much attention to national politics. Roseanne has. She has no excuse and you are silly for following this line of thought.
Do you go around calling random white people apes?

But Roseanne as a person may not be a racist. No one has come up with any evidence that Roseanne knew VJ is African American when she tweeted it.
But how do we know what Roseann was thinking when she sent that tweet out? She obviously doesn't like VJ, she may have been looking at a picture of her and lashing out on her overall appearance. The fact that she knew VJ was African American may not have played a part in thinking she looked like she was from Planet of the Apes.
Op you are racist. Shut your pie hole.

She made a rude remark about the appearance of a woman she doesn't like. The rude comment is an often used insult that racists use to describe African Americans so yes, obviously everyone would naturally assume that Roseanne meant it in the same way. However if you look at her picture, this woman does not look black and actually really does have a similar appearance to the characters in the movie which makes me think that it is rather possible that Roseanne's comparison was just done out of mean spiritness instead of racist mean spiritness

Doesn't matter. What matters is if Roseanne thought she was. It is very different comparing a white person to an ape than a black person, although both are of course terrible. I mean, liberals here compare the president of the US to an "orange turd," but we wouldn't have been able to compare Obama to a "constipated black turd."
And before you start in with "it's fake orange tan" stuff, it still is a stupid thing to criticize Trump about. It shows a fixation on color - natural or fake - by people who proclaim that color should be irrelevant.
