Yeah. I had my one + only at 27 and no way would I want to start over in my 40s or 50s! But to each her own. Still, to the 44 year old with 2, 2 year olds: the PP was just sharing her personal experience. There was no need to be nasty: it's rude and reveals your deep insecurities and anger.

First poster here - Those shows with Flavor Flav aired at least 13 years ago and I put her at late 40s/early 50s back then. Her skin was leathery and she seemed so shaky and frail, I can’t believe she was only 40 then.

She got sober and quit smoking after that. She looks great now. According to Wikipedia she also did some show about looking as young as her husband, so I'm sure that helped.

Not all women in their 50’s are too old. My friends family doesn’t go into menopause until their early 60’s - must be natural for them. Also, some PCOS women have late menopause.
Your telling other people what to do based on your personal biological clock is weird.

I hope it goes well for her and that the baby is healthy. Having another baby is not something that I personally would want to do, even at 42, but to each their own.

Wait until you are 50 -- I used to think it was "old" and now that I'm about 9 mos away from it, I'm reconsidering my previous views. I would have another kid if I could. People wouldn't think I'm 49 -- They would probably think I'm 40. You look at age differently as you age.

The difference is the man is not actually having the baby which is harder on the woman. I do think that really older dads are creepy...Mick Jagger etc.
