+1. Many unattractive athlete wives have been given a ring. I’ve seen way hotter women walking down the street than some of these athletes wives.

It’s also ends because most athletes don’t stay faithful. Too many easy groupies while on the road.

A huge percentage of those marriages end in divorce once the glory days end and the cash dries up. Most 35 year old ex pros have no where to go but down.

Years ago I was in Salt Lake City staying in the same hotel as the Chicago Bulls who were in town for a game. If you want to snag an athlete do what SLC women did - just hang around in the lobby and bar and you will snag an athlete.
