Of course many people do. They shouldn't, but they do because it's easier than actually taking the time to look at the underlying data and many people are statistics-illiterate.

Yeah, I'm zoned for Yorktown and I was thinking I should research other schools given the most recent GS scores. But checking out this raw data, there are a ton of advanced students there. Thanks, OP.
