This. You'll probably have to sign a form for sunscreen and bug spray. Our school doesn't start until after Memorial Day but we've been putting it on in the morning for the past few weeks.

It only lasts 90-120 minutes so I ask when they’re going out in the morning. If it’s more than 120 minutes after I drop off, they apply.

This is how our preschool works too (and it is clearly communicated to parents). We usually forget to do it in the mornings. They do the afternoons pretty religiously (I think it is part of the after nap routine), and definitely apply much more liberally and extensively than we do. You can bring your own or use the school's at our preschool.

That's not what our school expects. They do it in the morning and reapply as needed later.

Why do you say that? Our kids have never been burned. If anything, they seem to apply more than is necessary.
+1 DD comes home looking like an overly frosted cupcake in the summer. They must go through 3 gallons of sunblock a day.

How would you do in a room full of 3 year olds? I assume the kids "help"
Former camp counselor here. You do it one at a time, with plenty of adult hands assisting. No, the kids don't "help."
