DH sits on the toilet holding his IPhone and looks like the device is his confident friend, while I go downstairs to sip a lavender chamomile tea.

I talk with my spouse. We love each other and have good will toward one another. Without that, it's not worth being together.

For me it isn't that I don't have trustworthy girlfriends, its that I don't want to create a situation where they dislike DH because I complain to them.

I speak with a handful of close friends. I think its weird so many women don't have trustworthy girlfriends they can confide in. Making your husband the center of your world is probably part of the problem.

I go out, prune my thorny roses, talk to them and remove weeds (there are plenty in our lives!).
