Circus Circus is a glorified motel. It was all the rage when I was a kid, but on our most recent trip, we walked in, and walked out immediately. Dirty and it stinks. I didn't want to sit in a chair for fear of sticking to it.

I vote for any of the Hilton Grand Vacations hotels on the strip. No casino, pools are good, and very kid friendly. Plus, if you do decide to venture out, the strip is right there!

How old are the kids? Last year we stayed at New York New York. It's not the nicest hotel but is terrific for kids - they have an arcade for the kids ---we let them hang out there while we gambled and had drinks at the bar. It was perfect. If your kids are younger and can't go alone, I'd reconsider but it was good for our crew. They also have a roller coaster, a pool and food that my kids enjoy.

My sarcasm filter might be off...can't tell if this is serious. Circus Circus is downright depressing. Yes, it would be "memorable," but for the wrong reasons.

Hilton Grand Vacations, on the north end of the strip is nice, but it is a little bit of a walk to the main drag. It has a decent pool are, ball costs, mini tennis courts, spa...Tex. Platinum is nice too. Both are casino and smoke free.

That is easily found on Google. For example they open May 31 for flights around Christmas. I suspect spring break won't open until July maybe, but once May 31 passes they will release the next date for when they open spring flights.
