Listen to them, let your voice be heard but keep any strong disagreements to yourself. If what he believes is so egregious, then move on to the next one. You don't have time to argue with them. Realize that men like to have their own personal audiences for their thoughts, clap when you must but otherwise stay quite and enjoy the show. This is a learned art.


Yes, I agree with the country club sentiment too but there are tons of rich guys doing everyday things. You don't want to spend all your money on a country club membership. You might try getting a part time job at one, you know they love to marry their nannies. Most importantly, when you go about your everyday activities (choose areas that they will live in) SMILE. Be approachable, stay off your phone and if you must, look up, smile and then look down again. If he is interested, he will stare at you. A wealthy man looking to attract a mate will spread his wings like a peacock.

As with any kind of attraction . . . attitude is everything! Don't waste your precious time on the ones looking for FWB, or other such nonsense.

this is such a no brainner. Dress well, be a good tennis player and/or a good golfer, and join a CC.

It is no secret that successful people play CC tennis or golf. That's where you will find a rich husband or sugar daddy.

Your best path is to start your own successful career and marry a guy that you really love. This what my wife did.

You can never be left broke and starting over in your 40’s with no resume when you’ve had a strong career.

Set your sights on an older man and lavish him with everything he needs. They love eye candy so they still feel young. Just don't get old, or they'll tire of you quickly. It's quite easy to manipulate them. Been there, done that, just for fun. I certainly didn't want to marry one. I just wanted whatever I could get out of them without having to spend my own? money on anything. I married a cop.

Men look at the body first. Once you are in good shape wear jeans or pants that show this and a nice bougie blouse and good shoes. I would also invest in a high-quality but not obviously luxury handbag. Like a PP said, you do have to have that something that is a little different. You must be able to conform when appropriate but convey a sense of spontaneity and adventure.

1. Get a graduate business degree at a top 10 B-school
2. Get a great job at a great company.
3. Dress professionally but with some style and flair.
4. Work your butt off and get noticed for your brains not just your looks.
5. Do the above and you will attract an ambitious and potentially rich guy.

I don’t think there’s any one way. The big thing is having access to this sort of man, which is probably best done by having high achievements yourself. Because ambitious and wealthy people are more likely to be found within high achieve circles. A little goes a long way in this group, most people in these circles aren’t super concerned with fashion and beauty. Just look attractive and approachable, you’ll have men beating down your door.

I met my current boyfriend online, but many of the guys I dated were classmates or friends of friends I met while socializing. My exes are startup CEOs, VC/PEs, Forbes List alumni, CT surgeons, HLS grads, etc. I’m a racial minority, grew up straddling the low to middle class strata, definitely wasn’t born into this crowd and still struggle to find my place in society to this day.
