I have to say I’m not sad to have another reason not to go to solidcore. The vibe was a bit annoying to me, with the instructors dropping f-bombs regularly, etc.

It depends on usage patterns. For some people, it will lower the price.

I'm just so sad about this. I feel like they've just finally hit a nerve with me. The prices were already so high, I just didn't think it could get any worse. On principle I absolutely refuse to spend any more on exercise classes. I simply don't think it's reasonable to charge more. From a different perspective, they've been slowly reducing the discount codes, and they've even reduced the benefit of the referral program. There is little incentive anyway to tell my friends about it anymore because my friends don't want to get hooked on a workout they can't afford. Originally this didn't bother me so much, but by increasing prices and decreasing incentives, I've just had it.

The other thing about this that bothers me so much is the lack of respect to existing clients to warn us before the prices were increased. At least we could have stocked up on classes while saying goodbye to our favorite coaches and giving us time to find our next workout locale.

This sudden change has irritated me so much that I've already signed up for 5 different workout trials...to find my new workout. While I LOVE solidcore, I am certain I can find a new workout, or combination of new workouts that will be more affordable and just as good.

If you have any suggestions on other boutique workouts, please share!

OP again: what pisses me off the most is the increase in monthly unlimited from $300 to $400. That's ridiculous, and it's insulting to hide that increase, i.e., not mention it in that email, while couching the changes as something to benefit us.

This workout is different for me than others, and there isn't anything like it. I've even tried Lagree and that was a snooze fest by comparison. So, I'm going to figure out ways to complain loudly and hope they might listen. I'm not ready to give it up yet, but I'm also not going to encourage people to try it or recommend it as loudly as I have been doing. I feel similarly to PP as being taken advantage of. It sucks.

Forget it, I found it. It wasn't in the email. I hate this monthly membership; it's one of the reasons Ive resisted OTF.

I don't mean to be a smart-ass here, but who pays $37/class for it. That's the upper-end, and literally every other pricing option is less than that.

The monthly pricing lacks flexibility for sure, but the price is way better. There hasn't been a sale since mid-November which is disappointing also.
