I get gel manicures and they last at least 3 weeks. My nails stay nice and shiny and freshly polished-looking the whole time.

Maybe 3-4 times a year. I have soft nails and they don't last very long. I get a pedicure every 2-3 weeks even in winter so it's not like I am averse to the process.

Maybe twice a year as a special treat. They make me feel pretty but I can't justify the expense and don't really have time with kids. I am also not sure how good it is for you to breathe in all those fumes and have the chemicals on your hands you use to cook and eat with.

When I'm keeping keeping up with them, weekly. That's about when they start to chip, and I don't want to do gel (removal is such a pain). I have been known to to for several weeks with just bare nails though.

I get a manicure every Monday. If you don't want to do it that often, you can always get it every 2 weeks and go for a polish change only, between appointments.

Time issue for me. I don’t get them.

But—I get a pedicure every 3-4 weeks. 3 in spring/summer, 4 in winter.

Once a month. Short nails and cuticle maintence with pale pink polish from Zoya Naked line. Moisturize well and wear clear polish on the other three weeks.
