I binge-watched video on demand (stuff he had no interest in), got mani pedis, spent lots of time at the gym, sat on the couch and ate mac and cheese, spent large swaths of time on my hair, clothes shopping, and/ or organizing my closets. I felt no guilt. Now that I have two preschoolers and my husband does not travel as much, I MISS those days. Cherish them!! (Even friend free.)
Me too. Dh Travel was a great way to catchnup on me time without guilt. Now with toddler it’s just hard. But unlucky that I use his weekend travel days to take kid to grandma and have a little half day to myself. Grandma happy, toddler happy, mom happy building things with power tools in workshop

. Dh happy he comes home to family that missed him.
