If I'm going to a place for a three day conference I like to have one "date" so it's not all business all the time. I'm very upfront that I'm single and I'm only interested in drinks/dinner/conversation with an attractive, intelligent woman. I'd say that about half the time I do make a connection and the "date" has always been pleasant and we often stay in touch via social media. Most of the women I've met are also in town for business. Yes, a couple of times we've ended up in a hotel room. It's interesting that both of them were married.
What? No it's not interesting they're married, lol. It's called sleazy.

Because this does not happen outside of causal relationships. Nope, never.![]()

It depends on what you look like. If you are short, overweight, and not attractive, you will have limited success. This is especially true in DC. There are tons of men that travel here for work conferences and business meetings, so the local guys have a ton of competition. They usually start logging on to Tinder on Wednesday and Thursday, the experienced ones anyway. They also look for something other than the "vanilla" offerings at home. If you check all of the boxes, you should be able to compete.
DC is a tough town in that regard. Too many traveling cutie pies . . . especially in conference season in the Fall.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:You need to log on now to start the process. If you are going for the weekend, don't wait until Friday to log on. Do it by Wednesday at the latest. That way, you will give the partner time to make plans, have time for a little banter back and forth to build excitement, and then boom.
Make sure that you are very nice, supply water or drinks for the room, and maybe a little breakfast or other aftercare for your partner.
Being nice in this situation might get you a return experience.
