Rankings are arbitrary and stupid. Nothing within the top 30 is really meaningfully different from one another, except for differences in program offerings. Stop worrying about it.

OP--no one really cares. Your child should go to the school that suits them well and has a good program in the field of your child's major. Evanston and the Midwest in general can feel super isolated to rich coastal and international kids. Brown is a train ride away from NYC and all their friends at various East coast school.

Ivy league is an historic designation. It doesn't tell you anything specific. And #of applicants =/= information about quality either.

Who could possibly care? My feeling is that this thread was started by the snowflake so triggered by Brown’s perceived liberalism that they’re constantly posting terrible things about the school here
