It is NOT tat hard to find a woman for sex if you are a man with a pass. I was in that situation for nearly 8 years and it really surprised me. I've posted before that, I only went after woman who were attached and never tried to seduce a single woman or lie to anyone that I was married. What I found:

Of the 20 or so woman I was with half were single. The single women were the ones who approached me. A few of them made it very clear to me that there are plenty of single women who would be fine with my arrangement.

Of the married women I was with, the best situations were with woman who had more experience with this than I did. A few I was with had cheated through nearly their entire marriage. The first time cheaters can really present a problem, become too attached, too needy, and/or not very good at being discreet and covering their tracks.

I met a few women who told me right out that they did NOT like the fact that my marriage was open and it really turned her of that my wife knew if I was out with her. And a few that wouldn't even meet for the same reason. They preferred someone who was cheating. I came to understand that.

Bottom line for your "friend." Putting it out there that you are in an open marriage is going to make it tough. It's best to mention that later on. If he rejects getting with married or attached women, he is really cutting his chances of finding anyone and I'e really got to question that reasoning. That said, some single women are fine with this arrangement, for a short while anyway. As in in-between boyfriends.

No matter what you'e heard, AshleyMadison is still an ideal place to find someone. It's been better now than before their security breach.

This. When I was married, I had permission but rarely opportunity other than a half dozen times or so while traveling.

Now that I'm divorced, have my own place and half the evenings free, it's never been easier.

This only works for one-offs. This guy might want a relationship with a person outside of his marriage. A married woman might be able to provide more stability and frequent encounters, he clearly doesn't want that.

I suggest to start with learning how to tie your shoes. You want problems, you get problems.

Even for those married men that are powerful, good looking, or have money, there is a trade off . . . And it is the exchange of money. Either he is bedding different women at each encounter, or he is paying for something; vacations, rent, tuition, etc. These arrangements aren't free.

OP, it sounds like the guy isn't very appealing--some combination of physically unattractive, socially awkward/creepy, and without enough money/power to offset it.

He also may have overly high standards for partners. Women with good self esteem, ethics, and good mental health are unlikely to want to get involved with a married man, even if he shows them a signed note from his wife that he's free to play.
