My 10-year-old is out with the next-door 12-year-old and two shovels. They've been having a blast, and he's already made $15 off the neighbors on our block.

A particularly long/steep/difficult driveway and walk, charge $40.

Our listserve in Bethesda is full of college kids home on spring break and high school kids home for the day offering shoveling services. No reason you can't do it for neighbors.

i'd ask your neighbors as i always hire the neighborhood HS boys to shovel when they come by. i'd probably NOT ask any elderly neighbors, though.
