Looking back, I did this because I was grasping for control.
Anyway, I'm sorry.
Ha! OMG, PP - you are hilarious.
Have you gained control? Are you still a control freak? Readers want to know
I have! Well, some. I'm probably more of a control freak than some and less than others.
My singled mom was a control freak. I really think the pizza renunciation was a response to her BS.
I think it was around 4 that I gave up pizza. I think it was about 4 years later that I 'tried' it and though to myself 'Why on Earth am I not eating this?'
I went on a few hunger strikes as a kid as a control thing. Even pizza didn't get me out of it.
My college roommate did this as a child, too. He used to proudly say that as a toddler he 'renounced the world'.

That's called courage, my friend.
The reckless courage of youth. I couldn't do it now.

Anonymous wrote:My DD hated pizza until around age 5. Then she liked it with no or very little sauce. Now at 10 she loves it although not with too much sauce and preferably with lots of pepperoni.

This sounds like the beginning of one of those math problems
It totally does! I can see this on the SAT.
Henry hates pizza but loves cookies. Sam hates cookies but loves pizza. Both boys love chicken nuggets. How many tacos should their mom buy?
Anonymous wrote:I have a 3 year old that hates pizza. I try to do Friday pizza night at home once in a while, and got him cheese breadstick, cheese only pizza, or any toppings that he wants. He just says No, and sometimes tears up at the sight of pizza served at home, and go starving for the nights. For the last couple times, we get invited to pizza kid birthday party, and I have to bring his own food, that is quite sad.
