They are pretending that Dan never died, since fans hated it. Also, so they can bring back John Goodman. Great decision in my book.

I think the PP mentioned that because Roseanne is a Trump supporter in real life & Roseanne Conner is supposed to be a Trump supporter in the revival (Jackie isn't, however; not sure about Dan & each of the grown kids).

I just read the Washington Post article posted earlier. I had no idea Roseanne Barr was a Trump supporter and I have to say I'm pretty shocked. And the show always seemed rather liberal to me. Weren't something like half the characters lesbian by the show's end?
