Is it just me or did they write Robert/THC as Puddy from Seinfeld? He even talks the same way. Maybe this will change, but right now it seems like he is such a caricature. I assume at some point his character will be given some redeeming qualities.

That was my feeling and I gave up on the show at the exact same point in season one. Sounds like maybe it gets better? I hated it.

Bump
Season 2 is on.
I watch because of Robert and his deadpan delivery. “F you Jeff Bezos.”

It's worth it for Molly Shannon. Phenomenal actress.

Love it! And I think Molly Shannon is lucky to be in the show rather than wasted. I think the unsung characters in the show are the kids - but love SJP

Same. It’s my favorite show that I can’t stand.

+2 I hate watch it and I don't really know why. The husband is the only character that I get a kick out of.

My DH and I watch it weekly! Love the dynamics between the characters. We joke that we’d feel awkward sharing with friends we’re into a show called Divorce.

Agree 100% - surprised she has not had better roles over the years.

I love Molly Shannon's work. She's wasted in this lame show, which is just another vehicle for SJP to indulge her ego and pig squeal.

Get over yourself and your issues with SJP. This show isn't anything like that and the entire cast is well-represented.

He becomes extremely likable in season 2!

I enjoyed this show - am currently watching season 2. It's funny and quick and I think the characters are interesting. The husband really grew on me.
