I hadn’t heard about this new IT addition to Thomas Edison. We don’t have kids that are high school age, but I’m really interested to see how this shapes up. The future is in IT, AI, and robotics and kids who develop those skills now will have a leg up in the future.

Also, are you both still working, how long in your current careers (not jobs)? What additional education have either of you had since MCPS? Are you both happy with your career choices?

He makes twice what I do. He got an AA degree from MC. I have a PhD. He had a full time job that started the week after HS graduation. He has moved up the ladder careeenwise but has always had the same career. I’ve been in my career for 20 yrs. We both have pretty flexible jobs in that we’re not tied to any market, ie we can move anywhere and find work. Ours jobs pay well and allow us a good life.
