I certainly hope so! But I'm not getting a good vibe from this post. If it were me, I wouldn't be posting on DCUM about it, saying I don't feel guilty and that it was an accident.

Also, this happened to my husbands family. I am not sure if the child lived. Since then we ALWAYS back into parking spots.

This is why backup cameras are now required on cars, because these sorts of accidents have happenned before. I'm glad your son is okay.

OP don't beat yourself up. Terrifying but your child is fine and will never remember. Please talk to your therapist asap and take care of yourself.

OP I’m so sorry. I cannot imagine what you are going through. Your baby is ok and you do have a second chance. The PP was right. Definitely see a therapist because this will bring a whole slew of emotions that will be hard to process.

It could have happened to anyone. Try to be gentle on yourself. Take action to fix what you can. Add a back up camera. Maybe make the garage off limits to the new walker for awhile. Or whatever safety measures seem appropriate. Taking action is something that can make you feel better.

Actually, after reading your posts, I'm not feeling guilty, because it was an accident. I think I just wanted some positive attention, so thanks for telling me it's ok
