OP here. Thanks for the replies and I'm sorry for everyone struggling with all of this.

I have one child already (from a medicated IUI, but with a lot of other complications before that) and would be thrilled to have a second. A third seems incomprehensible at this late stage. We have one more retrieval cycle with some insurance coverage. I think I'm going to go for it, even though I really want to move on, because I'd rather not regret it later and it's only a few months delay in the end.

Have you ever transferred a PGS-tested embryo or given birth to a child when you were younger? I got pregnant right away with a PGS-tested embryo, but I also have an older child. This may be just anecdotal, but it seems to me that 40+ yo women who have not been pregnant before are having harder time "holding on" to their embryos, even if they are normal.
