My husband is moving ahead of us, and while I deal with snow he's taking scuba diving lessons. I'm happy for him!

OP, you're the kind of wife who gives other wives a bad name. I'll never understand why some women want their husbands to be miserable just because they are. That's the most idiotic way to think. You suck.

DH is skiing so Obviously he’s cheating. Please hire a lawyer and have divorce papers awaiting him upon his return.

So if he's stuck there on a weekend he should sit in a hotel room and do nothing?

Apparently you have us. So what are you complaining about. If he were home, you'd be right here pounding the keyboard with us. Glass of wine and embrace your life...

OP should go to Trader Joe's and pick up a nice cheese to go with her whine.

Do you know that it wasn't work? I have a number of clients in Europe and it's not uncommon to have meetings at ski resorts and include skiing as part of the activities. Sadly I have not been invited to one of these meetings yet but keep hoping.

Take advantage of the chance when you get it. Would you rather him sit at the generic airport lounge and drink away the rest of the time to make you feel better about your choice to sit at home and twiddle your thumbs?

DW traveled a lot. to some shit hole places, and some nice places. and she never ever on her own dime stayed a few extra days to any sightseeing or touristy stuff. So upsetting for me knowing that she passed on some really great tourist opportunities...
