I suggest you check eith yiur dictor first. I was 5'8 117. I drank weight gain smoothies. They are 1200 to 1700 calories. I have amazing curves now.

I have no curves, I have a very slim figure and I'd like to be curvier and more womanly looking. I am the same weight I was in high school. I gained some weight with my child (who is now 5) and struggled to lose it but once I did I lost too much and now look too thin. Now it seems like my metabolism is too high and I can't gain any weight.

I eat fairly healthy and don't want to start eating desserts several times a day to put on weight. I noticed when I stopped drinking soda a year ago I lost a lot of weight and haven't been able to gain any since I switched to water. I eat about one dessert per day (like a chocolate pudding cup or a bowl of ice cream). This has not put on any weight.

I already eat avocados, healthy fats and nuts several times a week and it's not doing anything for my weight gain efforts.

In general I don't have a big appetite which makes eating large portion sizes more difficult

Everyone carries weight differently, but you don’t seem underweight, you are in the healthy weight range for your height. The gym is a must- for your general health, you’ll look better and feel better. I’m 5’7 and about 125, and I look older and just blah if I am not lifting, but a few months lifting heavy 3-4 x a week and a better diet made a HUGE difference.

And fillers- your face is losing fat and you’ll have subtle hollowing around temples, under eye area etc. I've done sculptra and juvaderm (they work differently both made a big difference) ... Nothing replaces the loss of vitality or helps improve the appearance of looking frail until you address thinking of the face.

And the naysayers will say it always looks terrible - it doesn't, start subtle and find a good njector and you'll look like you but younger and well rested. Then hit the gym! No junk food, I upped my protein with lots of smoothies (fruits , Greek yogurt, protein powders, ice) and found my appetite increased a little the more I was in the gym so it worked out.

If you have the funds, some facial fillers could do wonders in your case. Also, what is wrong with dessert daily? Why not bake some home made brownies and have a sundae after dinner? Nothing unhealthy about that If made with quality ingredients like eggs, butter, cream etc. You sound like you need some sweetness and enjoyment in your life.

Go to Costco and get a double pack of those King's Hawaiian Rolls! Man! Those are good! And you can't eat just one so you'll be like 20 pounds heavier in about 3 weeks! Problem solved. You're welcome.

Just start making a bunch of excuses about how you don’t have any time to exercise and eat healthy. Also talk about your hormonal imbalance and lack of support from your husband. That seems to enable a lot of people to gain weight around here.

OP here. Why do I sound unhealthy?

Dp. There is a negative tone to your responses, almost like you could be depressed. You should see your doctor for a physical and blood work to rule out any underlying health issues. A registered dietician can help you with your diet if your health checks out.
