This, exactly.

Someone can be very smart and have bad/negative character.

Reread what you write. This person is not smart if he thinks or utters this crap.

Book smart but very poor judgment, impulsive control, memory and NO COMMON SENSE. So no, he’s stupid.

Not book smart, very street smart. He’s also funny, generous, kind, and handsome so it all works out

Yes, exceptionally so, and, like you, I chose someone like him because I always felt that a man should have better things to do than chase women. We have really excellent sex 1-3 times a week, and I never worry about him cheating because, in addition to his general good character, has bigger fish to fry.

Insanely smart and I'm the only person with whom he's ever slept. Data sample of one agreeing with the article, I suppose.

Yes. I would not marry someone who was not smart. I think I am the smarter one though.

Smart in the "engineering" way, but not so smart in other ways. But that's ok. And I also knew/wanted to marry a "smart" engineering type.

Insanely smart and it’s a giant PITA. He gets very frustrated that not everyone is at his level, including me. It’s get old hearing “what’s wrong with you??” every day. Nothing is wrong with me, I’m just a normal person.
