Op here: There's definitely not childcare available. We go on the weekends so I know. We pay $130 for the monthly unlimited membership. My son has separation anxiety really bad. I don't think he's with a babysitter during the day.

Yep. If you really don't like it, tell her you're not happy with the arrangement any more. You want her to go back to work, at least part time, and hire a nanny who will do what you want.

The best way to kill your marriage is to tell your wife she's not doing her job correctly.

When you’re not the one doing childcare all, you lose control over decisions like this. You can have opinions about what you would do in her shoes, but you can’t actually force her to do it the way you would prefer.

Daddy time? My BIL takes their kids out for an hour or two after work every afternoon, it is great for both of them. IME and IMO, we each bringcertain assets to our children.

You have to find a compromise to this. Take child out to play in the evening and definitely on the weekends. Wife can take child out early in the morning for a walk/play in park if she afraid of the strong sun. I think sun and fresh air is essential for child development.

You are free to take him outside whenever you please. She takes him for exercise and socialization, and she gets some chat time in, too. Don't even get into this - it will not end wwell for you. Just take him outside when you get home or on the weekends.
