It makes it way easier for me to come home from work hungry, and actually cook a healthy meal without diving headfirst into something carby because I have to eat "RIGHT NOW". It's allowed me to get to the gym 3x a week because it gives me energy. I get that it's not ideal. I'd like to say that this is motivated by vanity, because I'm honest- it is. But it's also about the fact that I want to take control of my weight NOW (32 years old) before the scale continues to creep and I have no one to blame for my overweight related health issues but myself.
