Not getting the uproar over the look. It’s a minivan, it’s never going to be super stylish.

I love my 12 year old Sienna. I remember looking at both and the biggest difference to me was that the Toyota was a much smoother ride. The Toyota felt like driving a Lexus, just a smooth, comfortable ride. The Oyssey definitely had a more sporty feeling which I don’t really care for but my sister likes that type of ride better and ended up with the Odyssey.

So take them both for a test drive and see which you like better.

What years! I had a 2011 and then a 2014 (still have this one) and both have been great in the snow.

2011. I once had to get it towed in a snow storm when it couldn't make it up a small incline. It's roomy, great for multiple car/booster seats, and nice for carpooling though.

I'm on my third Odyssey. I can't get over how little money I have to put into them (compared to our Volkswagen and Nissan). Just oil changes, occasional new tires and major services but nothing big has ever gone wrong on any of mine.

Drive them both, they are both good cars. I have a Sienna and to me the Sienna seems like a softer more gentler ride, than the Odyssey which seems more "sporty" if that could be said about a minivan.

We are on our second Odyssey. First was a 2006. It had an issue that got too expensive to continue to fix. We looked at the Siena several times. We ended up With a 2016 Odyssey that we bought in 2017. They’re so similar, the reliability ratings are almost identical. I think it just comes down to preference of the look and the drive of each.

I traded in my 19 year old odyssey for the 2018 odyssey which I absolutely love. It handles really well!

Both are good.

I hate how the Sienna looks now, though.

When I get my van this year, it will be a Sienna. I can get one with AWD.

If you are apt to need AWD regularly the Sienna is it

I would love to “need” a new car but my 2006 Odyssey still works great. My mechanic said I might get 300k miles out of it.

The Sienna is so ugly with that deep slanted front. Plus, it looks very, very outdated. The Odyssey is new and fresh, and won't look like you are driving a ten year old car.
