I pick up all of the pennies I find, wash them, and then give them to my son so he can put them in his bank. Every day, I find change - some days as much as $1 in change!

First, stop paying in cash.
When I do use cash, it's normally somewhere like Starbucks or a fast food or fast casual restaurant. Those places often have tip jars that I dump all the change into because I don't want to lug around a bunch of change. It's a win-win really.

I save my change and take it to the bank. We can pay for gas for an 1,100 mile trip which we make every June with pennies saved during the year. They add up quickly.
