People, please let us know if you will get anything in the mail once you get letters.
I want to make sure not to overlook it. We once had notification sitting in kitchen corner for several days! (Kids pick up mail...) Almost missed deadline to notify school about acceptance.

I think that this means already mailed today or will be mailed Monday.


Past few years MCPS has always mailed on Thursday/Friday. Hopefully, this means that most people will get it tomorrow or day after. I am nervous because my student may not have done that well.

It never works that way. You go ahead and register and if you end up in a magnet, that replaces the previous submission. At worst it's a wasted trip to the home school and there's always the chance a student could end up back there, so best to get the info.



Except that this time it might since letters are arriving next week.

It worked that way for middle school. My child who is in a middle school magnet never had any contact with the home school.
