Madeline is definitely past its prime, though I absolutely loved the name before it was so ubiquitous. You will have to work to ensure Marianna is pronounced the way you intend, but that usually only requires correction for a period of time in the beginning. It is a pretty name; plan for people seeing the name written down to give Spanish pronunciation and to assume Hispanic ancestry.

I like Madeline but prefer Madeleine

Marianna is adorable! But also lovely for a teen, a grown woman, an old lady. Total winner!

I know an adult (early 30s) Marianna. It's a pretty name and pronounced they way you want to (mary-anna). Go for it!

Love Marianna. It is my daughter's middle name. (With one n, but pronounced "anna."

I like Marianna, but pronounced “Mare—ee—ah-na.” I think with the spelling too you will get a lot of people pronouncing it this way. Mari (Marr-ee) as a nickname is also very cute.

I've known several people named Marianne, pronounced Mary-Ann, and nobody (as far as I know) had any trouble with the pronunciation. I say, go for it!

My DD is Madeleine and if she has been called Maddy she quickly corrects them. If OP, truly wants Madeline than the threat of a nn she doesn't like shouldn't deter her. Her DD could very easily tell the people what she wishes to be called. If you are worried about the DD liking the nn than you need more problems to worry about! Any kid could grow up and ask to be called anything! I mean a case against Marianna is she could be called Mary! Or Anna! Or Spike lol
