wtf. no! We're adults. We don't argue like children. In 11 years we've never had a fight so bad one of us had to leave. The worst has been bickering and then we go to sleep. I believe I'd be getting divorced if he got on a plane without me.

Left me and our 2 year old daughter in a town 3 hours away from the town we lived, because he got "called into work "(in the town we live in.) We had to take 2 buses to get back home. Home being a 4 minute drive from his work. There was no fight. There was a girlfriend though. The fighting came months later.

No, but I did see a couple fight at the airport in Cancun once. He stormed off, and she boarded the plane, with his ticket and passport.

He nearly created a security incident trying to go after her while she ignored security who were calling her to come back.

They were on our flight and I was really worried they’d be disruptive once on the plane.

Same here. DH and I don't fight in public at all so there is no opportunity for anything dramatic like abandoning each other at an airport or party. We're both pretty sensitive and very proud so we do everything we can to talk things out rather than fight and never in front of anyone else. Otherwise feelings get hurt and a wounded pride means someone is going to dig in their heels to try and save face and the disagreement will never get settled.

The one couple I know that fights in public do it as a performance, they like the attention. It was obnoxious when they did this at 23 years old, now that we're in our 30s, it's just pathetic.
