Of course I called rubbish on this thread. So it is a woman's fault, yet again, that husbands are jerks, insensitive, bcs over 50% of women are psychotic? Even what I wrote is in most cases, often... not a rule. Somehow DCUM is turning into complete misogynist crap run by women who yet again absolve men of any wrong doing on their own, and let's blame mothers now, and then wives, and then women in general. Guess what, those same "psychotic" moms raised daughters too. Where is a thread about excusing women of everything under the sun?

Don't date anyone who has a bad relationships you their parents or siblings, man and woman.

Only date people who are close to their families.

Oh, and he is the nicest kid she ever saw or met. I have worked so hard not to make any of these mistakes with my kids, so it rubs her so wrong that DD is so independent. This all from a woman who runs her own business, is always right, everybody is stupid but her, still has ton of income at 70, but it is only ok for HER. It makes me sick, there is nothing "unconscious" dictionary about it.

Everybody knows first born children are rule-followers and perfectionists, middle children try to smooth everything over and make everybody love everybody else, and the youngest are hell-raisers and do whatever the f they want.

It goes the other way too. Dad will treat his daughter like a princess, then be a hard-ass when it comes to his son.

Except most mothers are with the kids much more time than most fathers, so that damage of the boys is more profound.

LOL. But seriously, DEFINITELY go for the guy who has a healthy (and that means deep appreciation but has become his own person) ) relationship with his mother.

This has always rang completely true in my case.

My last boyfriend had a terrible relationship w/his Mom & the anger he manifested over that spilled out to me all the time.

It was just awful.
