I lost 70 lbs in the last year. I was VERY overweight obviously. This is how:
1) I started small with exercise (i could only do 15 of walking on the treadmill but I increased it gradually)
2) Don't starve. Eat a TON of veggies and fruits (but no dressings and dips)
3) eat carbs but good carbs
4) use my fitness pal to log everything you eat and stick to a deficit regime (meaning probably between 1200-1500 cal if you want to lose)
5) WATER, WATER, WATER....you honestly can't drink too much.
6) Don't do any fad diets. Do something that is healthy and that you can sustain for the rest of your life.
PP, did you get headaches/dizziness when you changed your calorie intake/diet? If you did, when did it stop?
I didn't but I took Qsymia for the first three months. Talk to your doctor about Qsymia. It's phentermine and topiramate and it does wonders for headaches because topiramate is basically used to treat chronic migraines. Phenteramine is obviously to reduce the appetite. I really felt like after 3 months of being on the lowest dose i was able to change my habits enough to do it on my own from that point. I did not want to be super dependent on the pills. It was easy getting off.
