We had a minivan but DH didn't want to drive it anymore bc it wasn't cool and got a WV atlas. It's a pain to have to move one of the seats to get to the third row unlike the minivan and that the doors don't slide open. IMO minivan is the way to go.
OP here, we have been thinking about the WV Atlas, so you wouldn't recommend it? one factor is my 2 other kids are under 3 and can't climb ob their own.

We had 3 in car seats. True 3rd row was a must. i.e. the middle row seats fold over to create a true entrance space for access to the 3rd row. Very handy for little ones to walk in the car and you as well.
Anonymous wrote:OP here, can people also state where they live (when you state the car you drive), I wonder if the vehicle you drive also depends on where you live? like people in the surb will be more confortable with a Van.
We live in DC not downtown and I don't know anymore in my block or neighborhood with a van, I actually don't know anyone in DC with a van, I have to say tho that most people I know only have 2 kids.
