I was single at 32 and I did not have a medical degree. Just a bachelor of science. I had been in a serious relationship but at age 32 it was over and I was single. I met my husband when I was 36 got married and had two kids fairly quickly. It can happen. But I know how you feel because for whatever reason I thought the same way as you and thought I missed my chance since I was not married in my 20s

Op here. I have my faults and flaws, but being single has been on my terms. I threw myself into finishing up my degree, often working and studying 1618 hours a day. The biggest problem is I am unlikely to have children of my own. That’s my biggest hurdle.

NP it’s not about a trophy. Eanrning a medical degree is an acolmoilsihemnt. Why not show that you do even if you’re not a doctor? That’s like saying pharmacists can’t say they’re doctors because they are not physicians. They earned the degree and the title. A medical degree does not only mean a physician. You thinking she was a physician is your ignorance and lack of understanding about medical fields, not hers.

Hmmm if you were in med school you know that tons of women started relationships, got married and had kids at various points in their training. It’s not some insurmountable obstacle. I’m 30 and unmarried butnhave been with my SO for 1.5 yrs and even before I met him I dated regularly. Try to do some deeper introspection on what’s keeping you single. Maybe it’s not something you can change or maybe it’s something you don’t want to change. But it would be good to know.

Op here. I hold a medical license, but I’m not listening my profession. I do make about 200k. I know a degree is not all that a man looks for. I would say I am 7 in looks. Cute but in no way a model or stunning. In my younger days, I was always compared to SMJ.

But without the nose. I don’t see it but two boyfriends and many other said I looked like SMJ during her Buffy days. I disagree.

OP ~ make a plan.
If you're not married by __ age freeze your eggs.
Everyday talk to a new man around your age who (best guess) is eligible
Consider finding a mate the same as putting your resume out there. There will be a lot of effort that leads no where but you have to keep trying.
Use all resources out there that you are comfortable with -- online, meet-up groups, set-up by friends
OK .. actually necessary to be clear w/dates that you are seriously looking for marriage, and once dating that you have a timeline.

Not OP. Not only doctors hold a medical degree. I’m a CRNA and I can say I have a medical degree. A medical degree is a degree associated with fields that practice in medicine and surgery.

Just after turning 32 I met the man who is now my DH. Married at 34, first kid at 36, second at 40.

If you aren't a doctor of any kind, don't reference a medical degree. Just say you were in (grad) school.

I don't get the "still" part. When do you think you should've been married by? There is no cutoff age for marriage, there is one for children but it's individual and you don't know yours. You have time to get what you want but not if you act all tragic and dramatic about it.
