You should its pretty funny sometimes and a bit sad. But stick to the mens, so many of us are clueless and write ridiculous stuff or soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo boring you'd jump out the window head first to stop the pain if you were locked in room with them.

I actually wrote in my friends profile ( It was as boring as the popes pecker) as a joke wanting to find someone to "pound like a Mallard". He got replies and unsolicited contacts. Point was it was so odd, and funny in a bizarre way but in context it was creepy. I am certain it worked simply as a door opener because it wasnt boring like the other 99% are.

The profiles that attracted me when I was online had good quality photos, at least 3. Outside, in good light, happy, doing something. Avoid selfies, professional profile portraits (you know, that studio headshot that your company puts on their website), and serious looks. Some examples of attractive pictures that I remember: a full body picture from a trip abroad, accompanied by a tongue-in-cheek, humorous comment about the location; candids in a park/outdoors with flattering light and cute, windswept hair; candid from a social outing that shows a happy, playful attitude. You should come across as approachable, happy, not intimading. Also, a spark, a sense of personality has to come through in what you write. It has to be well-written (complete sentences, grammatically correct, good vocabulary, no emojis), sound intelligent, and have a little playfulness or humor. It helps if you include things you truly enjoy for hobbies, books, movies because that can serve as conversation starters.

Men who specify body type of thin or athletic seem shallow. I can more than meet that criteria, but wouldn't see that in your profile and think " oh, that's me! I'm thin! He would love my bod!" nope, that got an ewwwww. So by stating that, you will actually turn away the (smart) girls with the ideal bod.
