IP here - thank you for all of the suggestions. I think I should have titled my post better. It should have been more like “One month to get in fighting shape” or “One month to look the best I can prior to a vacation.” I really don’t eat many white carbs but your posts are a good reminder to cut all out. And I have started the plank challenge! I think that after the holidays I’m just at my highest weight within my normal range and just feel sort of bloated, flabby, etc.

Based on what you wrote, you're looking for a quick fix and you're not gonna find it. To change your body, it is gonna take months, not 30 days.

Nothing if your goal is only one month. So what happens after the month? Do you just go back to your old habits? If you're only focused on one month, then after 2 weeks if you aren't seeing satisfactory results, you will quit.

paleo can give you a good head start for a month. I could only do three weeks before i caved. but got rid of some pesky pounds. You still have to work out.
