OP here with an update.

My teen did gain about 15 pounds, but not sure if it was the Prozac. He now is just teetering in the too heavy category so we are really keeping an eye on it. We have him exercising a lot more now.

BUT he is so much less stressed and anxious. I have my happy child back. So for that, it's been worth it.

Mine had ne weight gain. She was able to go off it after a few years and a year of therapy. We caught it early and I insisted on men's due to my lifelong battle with OCD.
