I think the color is fine. I bought a black car once because they offered such a great deal. Never loved it but it got us from place to place just fine.

I wanted the brown Cayenne but DH didn’t so we got another color. Depends on the brown.

Not unless it was noticeably cheaper. I hate the color.

Tell yourself it's "bronze"

Or chocolate

Agree. I assume somebody got a deal because of the color.

I am not a fan of brown. It's just 'blah'.

It might be a generational thing. I seem to remember brown cars being much more common in the past.

I’m not bothered by th color and wouldn’t think twice of it. The only car color that causes me to pause is red because I associate red with asshole drivers who love to speed and cut you off.

You’re right. My mom had a brown Impala in the 70s - she LOVED that car and it wasn’t unusual at all. Was definitely bronze - looked roughly like this:

I agree about asking for money off. Play up the fact that you really really dislike the color when you go into the dealership with your husband.

They should give you some money off for that. Make sure your DH is on board.

No brown, no maroon, no gold. I feel really uncomfortable in these colors -almost repulsed by them. I am really sensitive to light/color.

I actually like it. I thought it would be a Dawes brown turd color but this is nice — a kind of metallic light brown but not BROWN brown.

I’d buy it but I’d make them try to knock off something for it not being your preferred color.

I’d have no problem with it.

It’s a car.

Yes but it looks much lighter in real life.
