Bike commuting is awesome! I started in a Feb while pregnant and got in great shape. The right gear is everything. And give yourself permission not to bike when it’s snowy or too cold. Also, if you have baby wipes and a full change of clothes you may not need to shower, unless you’re a naturally sweaty person.
+1 I think Gold’s gym and Washington Sports club are among the cheapest gyms downtown.
