What highway are you talking about?

I don't know, I'm asking. Is the house facing a tree lined street, landscaping, a highway, street traffic? Usually chairs like that face a nice garden, etc.

That builder grade home is 15 years old. I guarantee it will need a new HVAC system shortly if they haven't already replaced it. I assume school's are awful too.

the irony

LOL!

Also, if you're spending $1 million on a house but sending your kids to public school, you're doing it all wrong.

Having a cheap brick veneer is not exactly something to be proud of...

not close to being a dream home but not horrible either.
Exterior kinda looks nice. Interior looks dated and builder grade.

grossly overpriced, they've been trying to sell it since May. Crap schools, and high-ish crime rate in the area. A similar home nearby with 1000 Sq ft less can't sell for 700K for half a year now - https://www.redfin.com/MD/Silver-Spring/11706-Sherbrooke-Woods-Ln-20904/home/11177882

That area is just not a 1 mil+, the builder made a gamble, but will not make nearly as much a margin as they hoped. People who can afford this price can get better options elsewhere (i.e. where other people of similar means live).

I wouldn't mind living there, but I wouldn't want to do it at that price though.

Wow holy early 2000's decorating and finishes.

There are lots of nice things about this home. However, in the background I see a rather dated looking kitchen. No bathroom pics... bet those are very dated too. For that kind of money in SS, I'd want updates and nicer finishes.

One thing I hate is these balconies over the entrance door. They so obviously never get used. Why build them?

Sorry, it's just another large cookie-cutter house with a busy facade. Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's tasteful.
