Which school is violating policy? I HATE the iPads because of the very high potential for misuse and the uneven application across the system. I think we're going to bail for private soon. My advanced student finishes work quickly and is then allowed to use the iPad. Maybe it's an educational app, but I'd rather they gave student more advanced work that couldn't be finished so quickly so that child didn't rush and try to get in a "fix" of iPad use. Child is developing a very unhealthy relationship with technology. We have a lot of trouble at home because of it and have had to ban it all together.
