You can snicker but it sounds pretty perfect to me. Access to city amenities, little to no yard upkeep and large home for entertaining! In many cities it is very common to have large houses on small lots in historic areas. Historic homes were large and "mansion" like but had no garages or driveways, since the horses were stabled elsewhere or in a lot behind the house.

One downside is finding parking if you are visiting for a party, but you can uber there.
